ALTERED BOOKS WORKSHOP COMING TO OZARK FOLKWAYS THIS MONTHWhat is an altered book? It’s an anything you want it to be book. It can be a book to illustrate a poem, a book to honor someone you care about, a book to gather treasured memorabilia; it can also be the whimsical expression of a thought or an idea, or even an art form. Erin Chapman will teach a variety of useful procedures and techniques in a three-session afternoon workshop course. The methods learned in this workshop can easily be adapted to enrich other projects such as journals, scrapbooks, boxes, shadowboxes, collages, etc. Workshop dates are Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. on October 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Call 479-634-3791 to register for this fun event All three workshops are included in the $30.00 cost.
